You can’t beat fresh blood on the walls.” i don’t even know what to say. this is one of the most thrilling, captivating, and cool pieces of media i’ve ever indulged in. i knew nothing about this going into the film, so you can imagine my shock when straight out the gate i’m hit with this fast paced amazing sequence filled with music from the soul of chicago. from the moment you push play the the film demands your attention and you will not stray away from this demand. directed to perfection, the music sequences are outstanding, the way we switch from the stage to the actual setting in present is done exceptionally well. this is a genuine masterpiece, not a single thing i would change about this at all and that last sequence is the pinnacle of media. every actor played their role beyond what they were asked.
