Conclave

I honestly resent any implication that this winning best picture would be the boring choice. This movie never feels like an award bait movie, it feels remarkably bold and fresh and in constant conversation with the modern world. It's so much more than what you expect. Perhaps one of the best portals of the intricacies of faith and organized religion I've EVER seen. I'm amazed by just how much they are able to touch upon and convey in such a claustrophobic and tight story. There are so many lines in here that give me goosebumps, a credit to its impeccable script and even more impeccable acting. It's really a movie without fault in my mind, that has the tense epic quality of movies that are increasingly rare. The visuals and directing make it astounding. Get on the conclave train!
