“Cause I'm just Ken. Anywhere else I'd be a ten.” Very very very good on the rewatch. I noticed more amazing references and loved the message so much. America Ferrera’s monologue was super good and I really adored the writing a lot. I love how the Ken’s of Barbieland represent the women of the real world and their revolt/overthrow of Barbieland symbolized the feminism of today that strives for equal rights between men and women. Ryan Gosling continues to shine and is still my favorite part of the movie, he truly is kenough and brought a certain kenergy to the theater and the movie as a whole. There are so many great moments and the comedy is so awesome, I love this movie so much. Also, the production design is SOOOOO good, that alone deserves an Oscar. Margot Robbie is perfection as Barbie and I LOVED the soundtrack, it’s sooooo good!!!!! There are so many vibrant colors and so many great things to love about this. Overall, this was great, it has a great great message, and I might just have to watch it a third time!!!!!! ALSO, the Ken fight scene is honestly the best moment in the film :)
