Get Out

Hooptober 4.010/33 I liked this movie, or at least I tried to.  Maybe I went into it with too high of expectations. It just wasn't my movie. I didn't really like the story. There isn't much to say except that it felt like it just kept dragging. The different phases of his "brainwash" were cool. I liked the whole sunken place concept. The plot twists were predictable though. Like I couldn't tell if we were supposed to see the twists coming or not. They tried to do twist after twist after twist at the end of the film and it was kind of jumbled and confusing.  I liked the acting for the most part. The girlfriend wasn't the greatest and it felt weird but I didn't hate the movie because of that. I really liked the humor from Rod. He made me like the movie and I was laughing 95% of the time he was talking. Overall, this isn't the greatest movie in my opinion.
