Hit Man
While I'm not sure I'm sold on the ending just yet, I still had an absolute blast with this. Powell is super compelling, as true a star as we ought to have in this day and age, paired with Linklater's whip-smart rom-com script that harkens to an age of filmmaking I haven't seen in a long time. Bummed that Netflix entirely hates any semblance of a theatrical release, because this would kill with a packed theater of strangers all following the captivating plot with the entertaining characters and situations throughout. Just a good, classic, simple filmmaking that we should bring back into theaters.
