God, this film. It’s one I’ve been sitting on for a couple days now, and cannot stop thinking about. The meaning, the cinematography, the score and sound design, the ACTING… it’s all so incredible. The monkey scene really disturbed me, and it wasn’t even really that graphic. But it felt sooo graphic. Also, the screams of those people will haunt me. So many sounds.. how this wasn’t nominated for sound design is crazy.
