might be my quickest rewatch and also the first time I saw the same movie twice in cinemas. sinners you are just not like other girls. went in for the imax experience cause fomo lol and godddd if I didn't get a rush every time the ratio changed and the picture filled up the screen?? yup 'i lied to you' was somehow elevated further. why can't all movies be like this?? let me innn. so happy to have gone alone because the tears that just welled up last time broke the damn dam this time!! dramatic trail of the single tear along the cheek and all the flair. sammie, you are sooo loved 😭 hindsight is a bitch, I was choking up in anticipation. smoke and sammie. their last scenes together entirely fucked me up (the damn baptism too? im not religious like that what am i feeling??). the guitar belonged to their father!! it's so over. end the era of nonchalance and go WEEP. the way i looped and obsessively played the soundtrack since my first watch, this time might as well be a sing along! banger! can't wait for the digital release to pause whenever and sigh with longing. ps promised myself this time the log won't be long but oh well!
