Very suspenseful, but I gotta be honest. Wasn’t a fan of the ending. I think that’s in part with the fact that this twist has been highly praised as being one of the best. But I could kinda see it coming. If you know what wrath is, the second John Doe walks in the station. You know he’s trying to play one of the detectives(because he always does things for a reason) and he obviously isn’t gonna play Morgan freeman so it’s left with Brad Pitt, who doesn’t know his wife is pregnant, and he loves his wife a lot so if that was taken away from him and learning that he had a child. Of course he’s gonna kill John Doe. I think the tie in with the seven deadly sins is great and the way they utilize in the end is smart but just predictable. But I really like how the talk in the car on the way out into the field has the affect it does on Morgan’s character, leading him into staying a police officer. All in all it’s a well thought out movie, just the ending disappointed me a bit.
