Prisoners

Some bone-chilling moments thanks to the brilliant cinematography and score that perfectly capture the hazy, somber tone and atmosphere of the movie. I mean, the tension in some scenes was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Not to mention, the well-written characters coupled with incredible acting from Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman as well as the deep symbolism make for a stunning 2.5 hour experience. Bravo, Denis, bravo.
