Blade Runner
I will never not be amazed at how this movie looks and the dream cyperbunk world on display, however what really struck me on this viewing is how terrying and disturbing the idea of having implanted memories would be, you remember piano lessons, can you really play? Sweet family memories, whose family? Everything in question, watching the world trough a lens that isn't yours, isn't even real. The eyes you use to interact with the world are fake, but the emotions are real, a contradictory life, which is a life nonetheless.
I think it is interesting to think how the persuit to make the replicas more human only dehumanizes them even further.
