Dune
Denis is an absolute powerhouse here. The first time I saw this film was on a three feature marathon at a theatre. I was completely checked out 20 minutes in. My original thoughts were it was a vomit of exposition, which changed on the first rewatch. This movie carries such scale yet manages to maintain such an intimate feeling at the same time. There is nothing left to be said about the score and visuals at this point. Godlike. Second rewatch only fortified the greatness of this film. I regret not seeing this in IMAX.
Edit: Saw it in IMAX on the re release
