Moonlight

Maybe my most anticipated rewatch ever. I’ve thought about this movie ever since I last saw it and was dying to watch it in a more secure and focused environment. What better environment then in an IMAX theatre? I was blown away completely. I cannot believe the person who directed the live action Lion King films made this. Every minute detail is so precise in making the film as emotionally tolling as it is. The intimate and concise feeling is so overpowering in the best way. Like a bittersweet hug. It just transports you into the film. It makes you feel like you can feel the heat bearing down on your neck, or the moonlight reflecting off of your forehead.
