read the first 3 chapters of mickey7 today, which is the book bong joon hos new film mickey-17. im not really a book guy, but my hype for mickey-17 is immeasurable, so i had to check it out. and its fire so far, january 31st cant come quick enough. so in honor of that rewatched what i consider to be his magnum-opus with my dad. hes never seen it until now, and im glad to say he loved it. and it was just as good on. rewatch. the party scene has got to be an all timer for me. the whole movie is just so good, how it starts off light, and even comedic at times, and then it just gets super dark. movie still fucking bangs, and it always will bang. and mickey-17 is my most anticipated movie of 2025, so hopefully that bangs too. but one of the best directors working today in bong joon ho and one of the best actors working today in robert pattinson, i have no doubt it will in fact, bang
