Sinners
2025 rankedfinally got to watch this after waiting months for it to come to streaming. the reason i didnt see this in theaters is bc im only 15 so i would either have to wait for it to come to streaming or see it with a parent. and even tho i really wanted to see this where it was intended to be seen, i didnt want a repeat of when i saw nosferatu with both my parents, so i decided to wait for this one, and i think i made the right call. and if this ever comes back to theaters, ill be there opening night. but this movie was fucking incredible. friendship was def my favorite from this year, but this is the best of the year by a mile. i feel like this is a lock for best original score this year, and it def would be a lock for best cinematography if avatar 3 wasnt coming out this year. the whole cast was incredible, with michael b jordan giving 2 career best preformances, and i cant believe this was miles cantons first role, bc he stole the show. the rest of the cast was phenomenal but those were the 2 standouts for me. so glad that i was able to finally see this because it was worth the wait
