The Master
An all around phenomenal film. The acting is some of the best in any film ever, the score by Jonny Greenwood is ethereal for the most part but still extremely well done. Thematically, there is SO much to analyze here, and it’s something I think about a lot. Literally one of the greatest shot films ever and almost any single frame of this movie will make me feel something. I will admit though, the pacing is a bit inconsistent and the plot occasionally meanders. That’s the only thing holding this film back, in my opinion.
If you only watched this once and felt like you didn’t get it: I implore you to rewatch it. There’s a lot more to this than what’s on the surface.
