Superman

yes i watched it in theaters again and what. hehe. anyways i definitely noticed a few other things on the fourth watch and my my… after superman prevents lex from running into the portal, lex immediately resorts to insults, yelling “you piece of shit alien!” to which superman responds by saying, “that is where you’ve always been wrong about me lex. i’m as human as anyone!” and i think that is very beautiful. i saw a lot of similarities to the racism the latino community faces to this day. and as a latina, hearing superman’s monologue was truly the most heartwarming thing ever. james gunn u are awesome. i fucking love this movie!!!!!!
