***I loved this movie 10/10. Off rip this movie is amazing The pacing from start to end is done so well. This movie flew by. Denis Villeneuve does an amazing job keeping the tension there and constantly has you questioning everything. The performances are PHENOMENAL. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal really gave their heart and soul to this movie. The emotional scenes hit so hard because of how much they put into their performances. I also loved the mystery behind everything and how the movie constantly keeps you questioning what’s actually going on and who you can trust. The ending was also amazing and left me thinking about it after the movie ended. I loved how they didn’t show us exactly what happened to Keller and instead left us with the idea that Loki heard the whistle.***

***PEAK. In all honesty 2049 makes the first one so much better in every way. Our characters from the first movie still have such a major impact on this movie even without being present. The twists and turns throughout the story and finding out that Rachael was dead was honestly a bit upsetting. But past that the overall story of this movie is so good and the way it’s told had me constantly questioning and trying to predict what was going to happen next. I loved how everything connects towards the end and how it all unfolds in a way I genuinely did not expect. I was really on the road of thinking K was the kid and Denis does a perfect job of tricking you into believing that. So when K finds out the truth it’s honestly just heartbreaking because you really feel for him. With that this movie has some beautiful shots and colors and the atmosphere of this dystopian futuristic version of LA is amazing. I loved this movie from start to finish and I’m so glad I finally got to watch it.*** *** ***[***MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES ***](https://boxd.it/TDJ3I)*** ***
