Spencer
2021 | Kristen Stewart | Cinema 2022
Wow.
I’ve been looking forward to this one for quite some time. Now that it finally played in a theatre near me, I couldn’t wait to see it. Whatever my expectations might have been, Pablo Larraín blew them away. I’m literally so overwhelmed.
I had tears in my eyes and even cried in multiple scenes. That is something that rarely happens, almost never. Leaving the theatre I was literally shaking. I don’t think that ever happened to me. This was one of the most intense and emotional film experiences I’ve ever had. It was incredibly stirring and agitating. This might have been one of the most emotional responses to a film I ever had.
Kristen Stewart’s performance is breathtaking. Seriously. She is mesmerizing and the reaction her eyes got out of me is unprecedented. Her performance is insane. And the rest of the cast is phenomenal too. I also loved the score and the cinematography as well as the costumes and set design. Beautiful.
“Spencer” is a masterpiece. Not only one of the best films I’ve seen this year, but one of the best films I’ve seen ever! I can’t stress enough how emotional my reaction to this film was and how intense the experience was. I barely moved in my seat and I didn’t even drink my cola. I’m literally deeply in love with every second, every frame, but first and foremost with Kristen Stewart’s performance.
