Sinners

*“Last time I seen my brother… Last time I seen the sun” * the goat of 2025. gets even better in the rewatch, which i genuinely thought was impossible. all of the performances in this are great, pacing is amazing, script too. miles caton was made for music, literally got chills every time he sang in the movie. the scene when remmick is singing with everyone around him is peak cinema, so so beaultiful.  micheal b jordan and ryan coogler are one of the best cinematic duos of this generation and if ryan coogler doesnt get that oscar im coming for them… had to show some appreciation for last time i seen the sun, which is literally the best song in the movie even though didnt get nominated. anyways, still like i lied to you, just not like last time i seen the sun. edit: i have now seen hamnet and this is not the goat of 2025 anymore
