Prisoners

Ang gandaaa. Very thrilling and almost every moment had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. Sobrang galing ng acting in this film, particularly Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman's performances. Jackman's portrayal of a desperate father being pushed to his limits and willing to do anything in search of his children is perfect. So was Gyllenhaal's frustrated detective angle. The mystery is great too, and isn't too obvious, with very nice foreshadowing and intriguing twists all over. The open-ended finale was chef's kiss.
