Second rewatch. God what a fucking brilliant movie which got snubbed for best picture by an obscene antifeminist movie.
Congratulations to my GOAT Michael B. Jordan for winning best actor, he deserved it 100%. Unfortunately people will always shadow his achievement to the white man, saying that he won because the Academy didn’t like Chalamet’s comment on operas and ballet or whatever(which is empirically not true, the votes were closed before the controversy). MBJ was simply the better actor and performer point blank. And let it be a lesson that being humble and relying on your community, on those who came before you, will always triumph over arrogance and entitlement.
