Fuck this movie, genuinely. Never gonna touch a woman again. Not that i ever did before watching this, so nothing really changed.

The concept of this movie is honestly one of its strongest aspects. It's such a cruel and depressing vision of the future, but at the same time it's incredibly intriguing to see how it plays out on screen. Robert Pattinson once again proves why he's one of the best actors working today. He gives such an intense performance and somehow manages to make every version of mickey feel slightly different. Other than that, I thought it was just a pretty casual watch. It's entertaining from beginning to end, and i don't regret watching it.

The first half honestly didn't have me completely sold. Tt wasn't bad, but i wasn't expecting what was about to happen. Then, out of nowhere, the movie takes such an abrupt turn that i was completely hooked for the rest of it. This might genuinely be the biggest mindfuck movie Ive watched so far. Every answer somehow creates two new questions, and somehow it all comes together in the end, but somehow also not... This is quite literally the representation of a snake biting its own tail.

The dark color palette gives the entire movie such a unique atmosphere. Every frame feels cold, quiet, and mysterious, making it impossible not to get pulled into its world. Visually, this is one of the most impressive films i've seen. The scale of everything, the cinematography, and the scenery make it feel like a true cinematic experience. It would honestly feel wasted watching it on a phone. Knowing Denis Villeneuve directed it, the level of quality wasn't surprising. Everything feels so carefully crafted, from the visuals to the pacing. I also loved how different it is. It bends your mind just enough to keep you questioning everything without ever feeling like it's trying too hard to be clever. One tiny detail i absolutely loved was using the same song at both the beginning and the end. It gives the entire story a beautiful sense of completion once you understand what you've just experienced. > *"I forgot how good it felt to be held by you."* That single line with the context was enough to push this from a 4½ to a full 5 stars. After everything the film had built up, it hit me harder than i expected. One of the most beautiful and emotionally intelligent sci-fi films Ive ever watched.
