I was very excited for this movie, I really enjoyed the character of Paul and his slow change from someone determined to be apart of the fremen army on the inside to someone embracing their so called "destiny" which gave him the confidence to eventually take on the emperor himself. Without the manipulation from his mother he may never have taken his place as the Messiah but he may have been happier anyways.
