Knives Out
I’ve had this movie in my top four in the past, and I think it held its place because I had remembered really loving it, I took it off because I realized I hadn’t watched it as recently enough to be sure it deserved that spot. Now that I’ve watched it again I believe that it does.
This entire movie was shot perfectly, every single decision made seems intentional to the tone and I think it perfectly reflects the message of the film.
I think this is Chris Evans best role, his acting even on my 5th watch, made me deep down believe that he was innocent, even though he’s clearly not. The scenes at the bar his acting seems so genuine, and it’s really amplified when he shows his true colors by the end of the movie.
This movie is funny as hell, the subtle dialog each characters little quirks are done amazingly and each character has the amount of depth that I expect to make each one of them believable.
I wish I could go back in time and watch this movie for the first time again.
