Warfare
Very different than any other war movie I’ve seen before. Great pacing, terrific acting, and a very visceral look at war. Staying in the one house and focusing on these soldiers made for an exhilarating experience.
For me, the highlight was Alex Garland’s use of sound and visuals to depict how the soldiers who were hit with the first IED experienced it. Sort of like being underwater. Alex continues to be a great visual and audio story teller.
