Hercules
the art style and color palette of this really are my favorite things ever, like the way that the backgrounds are generally pretty simple but theyre so beautiful and i’m obsessed with how much thought they put into each individual god’s appearance, it makes it all look so cool.
also when i was a kid i always got so mad how much they changed the story, and like i don’t care about it now but i do still wonder why they chose to make philoctetes the hero mentor character (and also a satyr) when they could’ve just had chiron be hercules’ mentor (plus he’s already a centaur and that would’ve been cool) and nothing much about the character would’ve had to be changed. i guess they chose not to do that because of the river guardian character but idk i kinda wanna know specifically why they chose that cause like phil’s character really is just chiron if he was a satyr.
regardless i love the movie so much. i was stressing myself out looking at common app so i just closed my laptop and made a cup of tea and watched this and that was all i needed.
