Sinners

Second watch and there’s definitely more to appreciate, even if a few small nitpicks stand out. Michael B Jordan is unreal here. You can instantly tell which brother you’re watching, not just by the colours but by his body language and mannerisms. He 100% deserves Actor in a Leading Role. The cinematography is beautiful overall, but I did notice some scenes are so dark you struggle to fully see the performances, which is a shame As much as I love how new, refreshing and powerful this film is. One Battle After Another feels like a more cohesive Best Picture package to me even if Sinners is more exciting to watch. Oscars 2026 PREDICTIONS
