Pulp Fiction

Shocker pulp fiction is still a good film!  This film is just so well represented in just the pop culture world! It’s been parodied it’s been referenced plenty of times and people have tried to make their own “pulp fiction” but I just think it’s to special and there’s no film like pulp fiction out there!  This is my 2nd watch now in about 5 years and this film just fucking rips man like truly!!  It’s so iconic and big, the OG Tarantino and it’s just really bloody good!  Rewatching just brought up so many memories and warm feelings of just remembering how great this film really is, it’s funny and brilliant, compared to other Tarantino films I’d say this is not a very violent movie it’s more palatable and smoother to watch.  What is great here is that for a director that in his later films has not been very disciplined and made films over indulgent, pulp fiction here is just so tight cause it’s held by its formal strict structure, the characters actually hold the chaos together and it’s just a very efficient movie and very slick movie it has affectious charm that just works! The dialogue is so sharp and memorable, each individual story are really interesting and could work as their own movie! Everything that I want from a Tarantino film is right here.  What makes it even better is it plays by its own rules and then breaks the usual rules at the same time! Cause on paper a lot of this movie is just ridiculous like the “Marsellus” and “Butch” scene in the basement that is just so bonkers but it works here.  The ending is great and all the performance too! The music great, it’s just a really great film and nice to re discover.  Bravo
