Eraserhead
A minimalistic surface layer ; that gets shattered like a thin layer of ice , plunging into some of the most important topics / themes we’ve seen put to the big screen. I’ll never get over how impressive this is … and it was a debut .
The “ Man in the Planet “ is one of the coolest things I’ll ever see in my lifetime , and it’s Jack Fisk ?.?.? legendary .
I understood a ton more than the first time especially after watching all of Lynches filmography , and my media literacy progressively improving after more experience . The idea that I’ve just scratched the surface level to understanding this is a great feeling .
Being a Lynch fan has unlimited ROI , when I’m 60 years old clocking in my 100th watch-through of Mulholland Drive , Lost Highway , Blue Velvet , Eraserhead , Twin Peaks , Fire Walk With Me + the rest , it may even hit harder then than it does now . ( it surely won’t be my 100th of Inland Empire that shit is just too scary )
