Poor Things
My Second rewatch of this film since it's release.
Yorgos-hard-In-the-paint
I finally picked up on the set up pay off with the chicken dog and other various animal splices making the sounds of their other half - only for the goat in the final scene to actually make a goat sound. pretty funny.
this is a terribly quotable movie as well - 'I must punch that baby' killed across all three screenings I've attended.
It eventually occurred to me that Ramy Youssef is actually playing the most Mark Ruffalo character - ever which is pretty ironic considering who Mark Ruffalo Plays.
The shift into colour as well is a very simple but effective way to indicate Bella's change into a person of Agency and her ability to see the world through her own eye's as opposed to godwins.
I really like this movie. When i initially watched it i was fairly sure I'd eventually change it to a 5 star rating but I'm still not sure, It's definitely close though
