Feels like they told Damien Chazelle he could do anything he wanted and he said “bet?” and took it as a challenge. Not sure if that was a good thing but I still enjoyed this one. No where near as good as his last two films though.  I absolutely loved seeing the rise and fall of all these stars and it’s clearly a love/hate letter to cinema and the Hollywood system. I just wish it was JUST about that and not all the other random shit he piled in there.  The ending is fantastic though. And the music. Ah the music. 🤌🏻🤌🏻. This man don’t miss with his scores I’ll tell you that.
