Another watchlist check off. This definitely falls into the category of unheralded little powder kegs that you can stumble upon on streaming. I’m sure it got gassed up when it did festival rounds but the distance between them and when your average moviegoer can see the flick are fatal. I think I heard someone talking this up on a podcast and/or the director has a project that this landed him. Either way, excited to see more even if he doesn’t get shunted stateside and assigned some IP gig.
