14-year-old Grasshoppers gang member Djibril leads a dangerous existence in a Marseille slum, along with his pregnant girlfriend Camilla who belongs to a rival gang, the Crickets. When Djibril is manipulated into killing the young Cricket Mahad, war breaks out. Djibril is haunted by the curse Mahad spat out as he lay dying, and begins to communicate with the spirit world. Convinced that global apocalypse is imminent, he embarks on a crazy plan to flee with Camilla and their unborn child – the only one capable of saving them all from Mahad’s malediction. But the law catches up with him. Now, after 12 years in prison and a secure psychiatric unit, Djibril will do whatever it takes to find his daughter and convince her to fulfil his prophecy.

en vraiiii il est bien je m’attendais pas à ça il est super interessant a regarder, l’histoire est hyper originale ça mélange pleins de genre. il fallait oser et j’aime bien. 

juste j’aurais aimé qu’on voit plus ce qu’elle devenait la maman et surtout j’ai pas trop aimé la manière dont elle a rejeté djibril après tout ce qu’il a fait pour elle (contrairement à sa fille par contre ça trop bon développement très humain avec le rejet après la prison etc) 

franchement super interessant c’est des bonnes pistes explorées c’est très humain, on reconnaît la cité tant le bon que le mauvais, un peu de psychologie etc… pas mal pas mal

une réalisation vraiment incroyable avec des visuels de ouf, un choix de castin vieux/jeune excellent, mais quelques dialogues qui laissent à désirer et un plot qui part dans tout les sens....ça commençait bien c'est dommagr
