I watched this movie when it came out as a kid and I still believe it is such a cool and creative concept. Thus far, we have had horror videos games be made into actual films like Silent Hill and or Resident Evil, etc. But I just wish they had done more with this film, I understand because technically the film was made under Disney so it had to be a certain rating. I love the storyline, the concept of dying in a video game and dying in real life, the history background on the Blood Countess, Elizabeth Bathory. You have actors like Sophia Bush and Frankie Muniz, chefs kiss. The visual effects aren't very good because it is the early 2000s but still it's gorey, gritty. They have to bring this back, I know we're tired of remakes and sequels but this could be so good 😭 for now I'll just re watch it.
