Talk to Me is rich is flavor, showing that A24 is excellent at delivering good horror, from It Comes at Night and Midsommar. Talk to Me is a more accessible than those just mentioned, but it doesn't stop it from being a genuinely startling horror film.
Despite some cliques, some sound mixing errors, and the pacing towards the end, the film is extremely fast paced (again, besides apart of the ending), the film also boasts social commentary about peer pressure, the limits people go to be scared, how tramua manipulates our emotions, and overpopulation of Gen-Z stupidity, soemthing that A24 has tqckled really well before with Bodies Bodies Bodies.
Not only this but he film boats sharp camera movements and editing, signifying the fear instead of just showing it to you blandly, and the performances from pretty much everybody ranged from fine to great with some funny dialogue that doesn't make you cringe with its relevance to Gen-Z culture.
