I clearly remember watching the trailer when renting dvds back in the day. I always said I'd watch it well I finally did.
Boasted as one of the rare movies that used real dead bodies and well the scenes may be a bit gross out but they are used well espin the third act.
The story is typical ghost 2000s movies but I did like that they used Aztec origins. It's not really explored but the idea was there. I wish it was and it would have been better if it was.
The characters are Also more likeable than most 2000s protagonists. They mystery is done fine. The main final girl makes the mystery worth looking into but it's definitely not as interesting as say the ring.
I can't really call it scary but I will say it's more fun and interesting than expected. The build up is done well enough and the third act isn't bad at all and I quite liked it.
In the end unrest is definitely a gimic 2000s ghost movie. It's not really scary but has fun moments. I can't call it great but I had a good time watching it.

I’ve been around 5 cadavers in my life so far and none of them were haunted.

I have fond memories of when 8 Films To Die For came around and spending the entire weekend at the theater for all of them, I believe that enjoyment led to me liking them more than I really should. This was the first and I remember having a blast with it. Of course now it doesn’t hold up as much but it’s still decent enough for a slow rainy day.

todo en esta película está mal pero peor estuvo que yo pasé la primera media hora pensando en que la protagonista principal se parece a britney spears porque no voy a mentir, fue lo único interesante para ver
