“that’s my dream, i want to have my own turtle orphanage”
two blonde girls (pamela anderson and denise richards) are hunted down as they’re mistaken for international assassins. the plot is highly simplistic, and very thin in substance but i really don’t care.. because i had fun! this film is rammed packed full of really gimmicky, tongue in cheek humour which really isn’t funny especially to a wide audience : but i laughed multiple times during this, not because of the jokes necessarily but the complete absurdity of this just left me in stitches.. dawn and dee go into a hotel and dee has a turtle bag (which is a real turtle) and they sneak him in and he constantly farts and dee gets blamed for it. that pretty much sums up the entire film, complete B movie action/comedy trash with that really tasteless 2000s atmosphere to it : using the ditzy blonde/dumb blonde cliche and flipping it on its head as everyone around them believe them to be these mastermind mob criminals when they probably have a brain cell between them. one quick word to describe this would be trashy, but in the best way possible. like yes! i want to see pam anderson and denise richards play two dumb blonde girls and a bunch of higher officials track them down as they blabber on to each other. i get why everyone despises this, but i truly just looked at camp directly in the eye.
