This movie is basically just True Romance but with Sean Penn, Jennifer Lopez and the themes are much darker. The soundtrack was alright, the acting was average though Sean Penn was great as he usually is. The villain was really poorly written though I liked Nick Nolte’s performance as the chief of police. Nick Nolte’s character Jake is such a disgusting character it’s insane and I’m not saying way because it’s a gigantic spoiler. The ending was meh, I wasn’t really that happy with it because it just kind of feels like an ending that was just sort of thrown together quickly. Overall it was an alright film with alright acting and an alright soundtrack.

Oliver just incapable of missing. Bloody crazy Sean Penn losing his mind fighting a slew of cartoon characters punctuated by a goofy ahh Ennio score. Twenty minutes too long but I wouldn’t cut any of them.
