Happiness in not in reaching the destination, it in in journey itself.

A very important film.
A film about the national idea, about identity and about strength.
About people are fighting for a simple chance to exist.
Without the support of a blind world, these people just fight and believe in what they do. We're all pathetic compared to them really.
My girlfriend is half Kurdish, so until lately I knew almost nothing about Kurds.
I was pleasantly surprised by the treatment of women among the Kurds, they're such an 'island of hope' surrounded by misogynistic patriarchal zombies.
There is a lot to be said about patriarchal countries and how they are mostly overtaken by imperialist ideas, ideas of ownership and the connection between the above two.
Gender equality and the persistence of the national idea are not distant concepts.
If you don't have the desire to own another gender, you won't have the desire to own another nation.
It's wonderful that such movies have a chance to exist.
