the more superhero films i watch the more i realize why they’re almost never nominated for any academy awards. most of them follow the same generic metrics. there are only a handful of superhero films that i think need recognition by the academy and this probably isn’t one of them. it was still entertaining to watch from a fan viewpoint don’t get me wrong.
