I love that I often rate bad movies five stars—but this one is so bad that Letterboxd needs a zero star option just for it. If I watched it with my eyes closed, muted the dialogue, and just listened to the soundtrack—now THAT’s a five-star adaptation

I didn't think this could be that bad, but holy hell was I wrong. The Last Airbender is a complete bastardisation of the beloved series, and I don't think it has a single redeeming quality. Of the cast, the only halfway decent performance was from Dev Patel, and even he could only do so much with the terrible writing. The visuals sucked, the action sequences sucked even more, and I spent the majority of the film bored out of my mind. M. Night Shyamalan needs to be put to death for making this shit.
