feeling conflicted about this, it’s like soooo made for me in some ways while also being everything i hate in a movie at the same time. i wasn’t rocking with the first half that much because i’m not a huge fan of period pieces or military movies, so obviously it was a struggle for me settle in. super awesome later half, though! giving this grace with my rating because it’s objectively super cool, just a bit out of my alley. should’ve been gayer tbh. why no sloppy bloody makeout scene?
