i think everyone needs a nice slow tender indie at 2am in the morning. this absolutely crushed me. every conversation was like a sucker punch to my wellbeing. such an intimate portrayal of being lost in your twenties, which hit me very hard. not to get too vulnerable on letterboxd, but im almost 25 and ive never felt so lost in my life. alex said it best, i just feel empty and embarrassed. like im stuck in quicksand and every day that goes by im slowly sinking further and further into my own demise. and i dont know what to do to stop myself from sinking. i look at the people around me thriving, and i wouldn't say im jealous, i would say more envious. cause i know i have the capacity to do something with my life but i dont know why i cant seem to figure it out. especially when amy said, "i feel like i wasted my entire life" oh man that hit me like a truck. its like im waiting for something to magically change... like im waiting for the light to change!! ok thats it.
but was anyone else worried about those pancakes burning?! cause they were on that pan for so long!
