In the Land of Saints and Sinners
I thought at the start of this film when Kerry Condon's character blew up those kids she was about to go through a Colin Farel esk ark from In Bruges, it turned out however (I'd say to the films detriment) this did not happen. When she shouts at the mum and kids to get out the way because they about to become the shops paint, I foolishly believed that that empathy would carry on throughout the film, but no, she's verry open to killing innocent people going forward. which begs the question why did she shout at the mum and kids in the first place if in reality she doesn't really care about innocent peoples lives. I just feel like this was a strange piece of characterisation to give to her only to not realy delve into it later on. Anyway, even though I thought her character wasn't the best written, jeez Kerry Condon is good. Apart from her character in Banshees of Irisheran I don't remember the last time I saw Kerry Condon in a film with a genuinely great character, like she was good in F1 but her character was completely unnecessary and not to shoot down a film I haven't seen, but I doubt her character in night swim was anything special. I know petitions are mainly for political things, but where is the petition to get Kerry Condon a decent acting role for once, I'd happily sign it. Just want to say at the end here, that 3rd act shoot out was so unnecessary. I don't think it fits in with the rest of the film at all.

it’s good, but not as good as I wanted it to be, specially taking into account that it had Liam Neeson

let me preface this by saying that I am an autistic person. overwhelming sound is one of my biggest triggers

part way through this film, i knocked my drink over and got it all over my pillow and a blanket, i had to put them both in the washing machine

the sound of the washing machine was a more pleasurable experience than watching this shite
