It’s not bad but for me, it’s not really my favorite. Besides Scott, I felt like the majority of the characters were not great, they were either bland or stereotypical which definitely drove the film down a bit. There wasn’t really anything super unique about this one that grabbed my attention and made me want to watch it again. The humor also really isn’t my style, the embarrassment type of humor does nothing for me which the majority of the film is that. The only humor in it that I did enjoy was the epic fight battle then it pans out to it being all anticlimactic like with the train. It didn’t have much emotion in it either, it’s just mid really. The action sequences are standard marvel action scenes, they’re very good, over the top CGI battles which are good. I’ll probably watch again but not for a while.

The only light source is the glowing phone screen, casting dynamic, chaotic shadows that make the minuscule scrap feel massive!

Ant-Man completely flips the script by staging its ultimate showdown in a little girl's bedroom. the movie plays brilliant visual gags with perspective. The brilliance of the sequence is how it cuts between two entirely different worlds, From Scott and Cross’s shrunken viewpoints, the fight is an epic, high-stakes battle. A plastic toy train track becomes a massive, metallic gauntlet, and laser blasts slice through the air with destructive sound design. When to every time the film cuts back to human size, all that epic tension instantly evaporates. There are no world-shattering explosions; instead, we just hear the quiet clacking of a toy train, a tiny plastic laser pop, and a small piece of plastic tumbling harmlessly onto a bedroom carpet. It's a masterclass in comedic timing!

​Beyond the visual gags, the script is packed with a snappy, rhythmic humour that keeps the pacing tight. The film leans heavily into the absurdity of its own premise. While Rudd handles the deadpan reactions, Michael Peña’s Luis completely steals the show. His legendary, fast-talking, hyper-detailed recap monologues are undisputed comedic highlights of the MCU. They bring a distinct, stylized energy that keeps the movie's vibe incredibly light and joyful!
