I’m so tired of “Christian” movies, I’ve yet to see a good one. Each and every one I’ve seen is a sanitized version of “art.” Most have nothing to say about anything meaningful, whether that’s faith, grief or spirituality. They attempt to tell “real” stories but take out the parts of reality that don’t fit into their evangelical slant. Once again, the creative minds behind this soulless movie thought about their message more than visual storytelling. It’s an approach that will never work.
