"They're coming to get you Barbara... They're coming for you Barbara!
This is my first time checking out this film, and I can see why 'Night Of The Living Dead' from 1968 is a classic. Is it the best zombie movie ever? Personally, I'm not so sure, but it's definitely up for a debate. This film definitely worth checking out, even though some of the special effects are pretty old-school. The black and white setting really sets the mood and makes you feel like you're in a scary situation where no one's safe. What really gets me is that the movie is set in a house with zombies surrounding the outside. You're stuck inside with a bunch of strangers and you're way outnumbered. If you go near the windows, they'll grab you. If you step outside, they'll kill you. It's a really intense feeling of being trapped and then, as things get worse, you start to lose your sanity. Honestly, The only thing I don't like about the movie is how annoying Barbara is. I get that back in the day, the typical screaming woman was a common character, but she could've been a lot better. Also, the fight scenes, like punching, don't look very convincing and can be pretty silly at times. But overall, I can see why people love this movie and why it's considered a classic. George Romero was a genius, and this film deserves all the praise and awards it's gotten.
