I love moby dick as it’s a piece of literature I really enjoy but my biggest gripe is how boring the fist act, almost entire half is, until moby dick is first spotted. But the second half makes up for it entirely, and captain ahab’s gripping monologue about god is always a treat. For 1956 they still managed to make the whale somehow scary.
