Another day another December slay. Found this movie this very year and thought it looked enticing. And yeah it's alright. I don't have much to add here tbh. It's a fine small little thriller. Well made but also underwhelming and not the most memorable flick ever. Very much a middle of the road kinda flick
As for a Christmas flick it was also quite meh. There was some snow and some Christmas decorations, but not much else. Ugh! Could've definitely used more Christmas vibes but we live on

Pretty good performances but the whole film in general felt too simplistic and just a bit of lackluster really, there's nothing worth noting except for Anna Gunn's excellent performance yo & it takes too much time stalling to explain it's rather standard typical dark backstory. The tension got lost halfway through it's runtime cause it just felt repetitive at that point with it's cat & mouse sequences set just at a house mind you and I feel like it's already super justifiable for the main character to go that far considering the reveal but the movie's trying to be holier than thou which just doesn't work for me because in my opinion- this is fiction in the first place, show us some brutal justice that we normally don't get in real life.
