This is a tough movie to watch and it’s definitely hard for me to kind of pick a side especially with such a volatile subject as that. I felt horrible for the main character but I also understood why everyone around him were so angry even if what the little girl said was misinterpreted. Definitely a few people went too far with it like the whole dog part. The church scene was very difficult to watch, the emotion in that scene was palpable, phenomenal acting, screenwriting and camerawork all around. The ending was also really well done with everyone not being able to look at him the same. It’s definitely a reality check to think about someone who could’ve gone through this situation. It’s a great movie, not the easiest watch, it’s emotionally raw and messed up but still worth a rewatch for sure.

The Hunt is A Perfect film that critques Vouyersm, Hypocrisy and it secretly critques social media culture. The hunt may be the greatest drama thriller ever made it has you on the edge of your seat the entire time and it is also highly thought provoking on what society does to a man and a secret critque on social media culture. Vouyersm is a big theme here cause that's what leads to fanny dying and people hunting down Lucas. Fanny is one of the only things that makes Lucas complete and one of the only things that were actually there for him but he gets shot because of vouyersm and people's selfishness. I think my favorite out of these themes are the social media critque and how social media users typically believe in what they see and afraid to go further into whats actually true and typically has a bias to an age group/religion/status, The hypocrisy behind them people attack without considering other people and only Thereselves. Societys vulnerability to the truth is also a big theme here, when they know the real truth and not a fabricated lie they are to far deep in their "truths" so they attack and hunt. The only reason why this is not a 5 is it will get better upon rewatch, this is a must watch film.
